Where Quality of Care Matters
Our children love playing in our vast, safe and fully enclosed garden that wraps around the whole nursery building and has been designed with children in mind providing lots of areas to run, play, climb and ride.
Our soft floor area has a climbing frame and slide. We also have a fully working water pump and rill that can be operated by the children, as well as a large sand pit with shade sail for the hot weather and musical pan chimes.
The children are able to ride cars, bikes and scooters .around a dedicated paved area with road markings. A large grassed area over looked by large mature trees gives cool leafy shade in the summer months, where we have a wooden playhouse, a ‘wobble bridge’, grassed mounds, balance beams and log seating as well as child size bench and tables to build on our children’s physical and social skills.
A paved path separates our other grassed area which is used primarily for babies and toddlers, this has a wooden mushroom ring (seating area) covered by a shade sail in the summer months, varying sizes of grassed mounds, a small wooden bridge and a small paved area for wheeled toys.
A wooden gate leads onto our natural area which is bark covered and consists of a large covered outdoor sandpit together with mirrors on the wall as well as picnic benches for the children to sit and chat, work or eat and drink.
At the rear of the nursery we have a partially rubber matted area, with small climbing walls, musical chimes and a bench and planters for the children to grow their own flowers or vegetables and sit and chat.
